Studio Flash

Finally I got the photo studio equipment that I ordered. Last week they sent me broken flashes, and I wasn't that excited.. ;)
But, today I got the replacements and started to figure out how to use these things. I have never even turned on an extern flash before, so there's probably a lot to learn before the pictures turns out well.

After an hour the result looked like this (I have no backdrop yet, so it had to be the wall):

No shadows on the wall, but WHAT about the colors? I look like a yellow... I don't know.

Oh, on the picture you se my big size Bulldog Scarf that I made for myself this morning. I accidentally cut out two of them, so of course I sewed another one to. You want it? I'm thinking 350 SEK and you can email me at info@cloo.se.

Visits and Good Looking Kids

Yesterday, when the heat finally came back, we had a nice visit from Marie who runs the blog whatiwant.se. She and her baby daughter was in town for the annual swedish bookfair and took a walk from the centre of Gothenburg to visit our new showroom.

Marie has blogged about "The Badger Suit" and now got a chance to look and feel the rest of the collection.

In Swedish / På Svenska:
När värmen kommit tillbaka igår fick vi besök av Marie som driver bloggen whatiwant.se. Hon och hennes lilla dotter var i stan för den årliga bokmässan och tog en promenad från centrum för att kolla in vårt nya showroom.
Marie har tidigare bloggat om "The Badger Suit" och fick nu chansen att se och känna på resten av kollektionen.

Sen kom min kompis Malin förbi med sina två underbara ungar. På bilden syns Hjalmar i Cloo från topp till tå.

Freezing Degrees at the Cloo Collection Showroom

Finally I'm back in the showroom after a week of other assignments. During this week, the heat in the whole building has shut down and I can tell you it's bloody freezing in here. Hopefully they will be able to locate the problem soon (I feel really sorry for the people living in the house) - the temperature outside is about 7 degrees celcius, and even though some of the warmth from last week has been locked in here, I doubt that a thermometer would show more than 13-14 degrees.

So, today I'm wearing my winter boots and I'm wrapped in my big winter scarf in front of the computer.

In Swedish / På Svenska:
Äntligen är jag tillbaka i showroomet efter en vecka med uppdrag på annan plats. Under den här veckan har värmen försvunnit från hela huset och jag kan avslöja att det är riktigt jäkla kallt här inne. Förhoppningsvis kan de lokalisera felet inom ett par dagar (Jag tycker verkligen synd om de som bor i huset) - temperaturen ute ligger på runt 7 grader och även om lite värme från förra veckan har stannat i lokalen så tvivlar jag på att det är mer än 13-14 grader här inne. 
Så, idag har jag på mig vinterstövlarna och min stora varma halsduk framför datorn.
